Re: Very, very tempted.
Chad, Isn't that thing beautiful? I won't be up for riding much for awhile, but damn, hate to see this thing go. I could at least park it in the garage, sit on it, and make loud pipe noises. I love the looks of this scooter.

That is nice. I don't know much about bikes, but it looks a little mad-max'ish

Re: Very, very tempted.
I see nothing wrong with buying something like that and putting it in the Living Room just like a Grand Piano. Use it as metal sculpture art-work to look at and admire until you can ride the hell out of that thing. Don't forget the velvet ropes around it. Now lets find you a leather jacket

Re: Very, very tempted.
Given him a couple calls but haven't hooked up yet. I have plenty of leathers. Have had everything from 79 FLH, Springer, Sporty 1200 and my last bike was an 86 Heritage Softail I sold several years back. I'm fixing to take my life back and need all the accessories! I don't think I am going to be able to let this one slip by.

Re: Very, very tempted.
Might be a bit too much of a Frankenstein for me. It is titled and insured, but VINs don't match and was a hassle of sorts for both. Seller is the builder. Suicide shifter, tough kick start most days.......very cool looking bike but not the right one for me and the timing ain't quite right. One thing at a time,

Re: Very, very tempted.
Damn shame. Looks like a bad ass bike.
I've always wanted a WLA45. Although, I don't think I would be out jumping barbed wire barriers Steve McQueen style on it.

Re: Very, very tempted.
I love looking through craigslist at the bikes (and trucks and cars and tools and cameras and......). My son is about 5 months away from graduating MMI in Phoenix, specializing in Harleys. I've been half looking around for an old harley that needs fixing up. Give it to him on or near graduation to fix up for his own.

Re: Very, very tempted.
My Brother In Law went to MMI - great school and learned a ton. He is certified on Yam, Hon, Suz, Ski, etc. but skipped the Harley certification - he will likely never make as much money as your son. Very smart.
