| Post subject: | Outdoor National Forest shooting ranges |
I was wondering if any of you guys know of any such shooting ranges that are still open. Its been a few (like 10) years since I've been out to one of them. The one at Shawnee, Buffalo Creek and Harris Park were the last ones I knew about, are they still open? Are there any left ???? I understand the Rampart Range location is closed too. Also, do you have a place you like to go to thats somewhat close to town for shooting Trap/Skeet or Sporting Clays? |

I know Rampart is closed. Has been a few years. Couple of jackasses were screwing around up there and one shot the other. Past that, I don't know of any of the others. I have family property that I can go shoot on when I do any unwinding |

Buffalo Creek is still open, nice and close. There are also legal shooting ranges out between Grandy and Kremmling or Kremmling and Silverthorne. |
