For some background, we have an old Coleman 2-burner that has a round burner on the right and a long burner on the left with a rectangular grate over it. But a couple weekends ago, we met some family in SD for a long weekend of camping and loved how their Camp Chef griddle cooked so much food easily! My wife and I are now contemplating swapping out or coleman for something similar. Here are my items I want in a replacement: 1. Fairly compact for storability. 2. Two-burners 3. Flat griddle with grease drain 4. Would love it to have a lid/hood for when it's windy. 5. Would like to replace the flat griddle with a grate of some sort so we can boil water or something like a traditional gas stove. 6. Only needs propane to operate. 7. Do not need a stand as we would just use it on a table. I have done my own research and here are my results and why they don't quite fit the bill. 1. Pitboss Table Top Sportsman Does not have a grate (although one could be made) 2. Blackstone ADVENTURE READY 17" WITH HOOD & SIDE BURNER How is that 17" measured? I fear it would be too small to cook bacon and make pancakes on the same griddle. I have looked at camp chef, but they don't have a hood. Any out there that I am missing? Thanks for your help! |

We have the Blackstone and my wife loves it. She cooks almost every meal when we camp on it. It stores in our trailer nicely in the bag it came with. Can't go wrong with it for sure. Sent from my Pixel 5 using Tapatalk |

if it says anything, I own 3 blackstones. 1-36" at home and 2-22" one dad has at his house and I have the other at work. I cook almost everything on it. Even heat up pans on it. only thing I have found that i dont care for on the griddle is hot dogs/brats. |

Is that 22" the width or is it on a diagonal like a tv? |
