We only run Hobarts in our shop. 3 of them running all day everyday. Other than the frills that you get with milller (auto set) they are identical. Made and shipped from the same factory also. Most of the parts on the hobart are labeled Miller. We have never had any major problems with any of our welders and they lay great beads. I've used Lincoln, Miller, and Hobart welders. All are a little different but we choose the Hobarts for their value and quality.

I used to use Hobart migs almost exclusively when I welded every day. We had a couple of Lincolns and I didn't really like using them. I also had a real old Miller that I would use when the Hobart wasn't available. That thing was really a good welder. We also had a boat anchor of a stick Miller. That thing was huge.
