We need a "You know what sux?" thread....
Second day of vacation. Woke up with flu. "Toughed" it out long enough to throw up twice at the salvage yard while grabbing 65mm Exploder throttle body. Time for bed.

Re: We need a "You know what sux?" thread....
Bringing this one back from the thread with a whopper. 1) Closing on a house and not being there for it. 2) Finding out just before moving in that said house has a beehive in the wall. Exterminators won't touch it. Beekeepers do not return calls. 3) Buying brand ing new refridgerator. New refridgerator is installed by Best Buy. Said new fridge "malfunctions", according to Best Buy installer, overnight pretty much destroying kitchen, bathroom, and large portion of living room. 4) Not even moved in completely yet. Think I'm going to be shopping for new homeowner's insurance once this claim is done. According to USAA the house is still inhabitable until repairs are done, despite the fact that there is no kitchen and we have an 18 month old who surprisingly likes food. Did I mention no one from the insurance company has been in the house yet? Happily enough my sister, soon to be brother in law, and nephew came out to help with the move, so at least Frau Castle is in somewhat of good spirits through it all. Oh, and Best Buy's reply? "We can send a repairman out to fix that fridge for you." Just what I was hoping for; a "technician" to come out and repair a job he likely also screwed up. Not that a repaired fridge would do a lot of good, considering the rest of the kitchen is *$#&@! destroyed! Sorry for the tirade. Always seems to be something when I go on work trips.

Re: We need a "You know what sux?" thread....
Not near as bad as the kitchen flooding but I am just as happy to vent... Spent a couple of hours in the 95 degree heat today installing my new rear and tumble Trailmax II seat (that cost $300 nonetheless) only to find out after everything was installed, that it was defective. This thing came BENT TO $#/!

Re: We need a "You know what sux?" thread....
Bringing this one back for a special bonehead moment. Currently sitting in a lawn chair, next to the road, waiting for CSprings Utilities to show up and turn off the gas. Been working all morning to take down a 30' pine growing next to the house. Dropped a branch and hit the gas meter. I can hear the hiss from 100' away.

Re: We need a "You know what sux?" thread....
"March 23, 2003 - A 24-inch diameter gas pipeline near Eaton, Colorado exploded. The explosion sent flames 160 meters in the air and sent thousands of Weld County residents into a panic, but no one was injured. The heat from the flames melted the siding of two nearby homes and started many smaller grass fires."
HA! I live about 6 miles away and it sounded like a Jet trying to take off in my front yard! They had a camera from 9News mounted @ the DTC over 90 miles away you could see the bonfire!
P.S...I only have 1 Vice left for my Bronco! ;)

I'm officially prohibited from driving for the next 45 Percocets. And then I'll be on autos only for about 6 weeks after that. And no, this is not my Forrest Whitaker impression. The nerve block went a little north as well as south.

Re: We need a "You know what sux?" thread....
You know what sux... Owning a home with aluminum wiring! This makes the 4th time I could have potentially had a serious fire. Junction box in my basement laundry room (that I'm sure the P.O. installed to meet local code specs ) decided to let out a bunch of magic smoke. Thankfully, it didn't catch any dryer lint, but burnt the Romex in to the wall in a really bad spot. Not quite sure how I can fix this one without some serious remodel. While trying to assess the damage I feel a drip. Look up to see the shut off valve for my outside spigot dripping.

Re: We need a "You know what sux?" thread....
It sux when you do an EFI swap in April and your gas gauge doesn't work when your done. You find this this out only after you fill the new 23 gallon gas tank. Then your driving home from a long day working on a friends bronco to find out that your new 23 gallon gas tank has less than 23 gallons in it. I apparently didn't put 23 gallons in it when I thought I put 23 gallons in it.
Note to self: Fix the Freaking gas gauge!

When I was a newbie bronco owner, I ran out of gas, but I knew I had a little in the aux tank. Flip the switch on the dash, but still no start. I learned the next day the purpose for the selector switch in the footwell ...
