Project 1976 Bronco (SAR) in C/S "Hello all"
Hello, My name is Aaron Johnson, I live in Colorado Springs Co, and work for the Colorado Springs Fire Dept. My Wife (Kirsten) and I have a 1976 Ford Bronco that I'm trying to fix up for a nice weekend cruiser. It has a 302 with a C4, 5 inches of lift and the previous owner was making it into a rock crawler. I also have a 351 W HO engine and Ford AOD he through in with the deal. The bronco does run, but I'm going to rewire it, put a new fuel tank in, pull the engine and redo that also. My goal is to use the bronco for Search and Rescue (SAR) dog work. My trying to get my current and next dog certified for wildland and urban search. We had the bronco for about 10 years now, so I can't wait really use it. ;)

Rollbar color? Could be worse. You could have no rollbar. Looks alright to me. Sitting on about 2" of body lift, it looks like? Which station do you work at? There used to be a blue uncut Bronco always parked behind the GOG station, in the Western Forge parking lot. And thanks for keeping my house from turning in to a pile of ashes last summer.

Welcome and I see nothing wrong with that roll bar color. As Zack said - you could have no roll bar. I am looking forward to meeting you and checking out your build. Oh - and thanks for saving Zack's house last summer too.

There used to be an EB over on the SW side of town that was the color of your roll bar....the entire EB.
Welcome, and like Zac asked, what station you at? I know several of your guys at the Southgate & Cresta stations.
