Scrap metal
Anyone have some crappy old metal I can learn to weld on? Ideally I'd like 18ish gauge steel since my first project will be a set of floor pans, but I'll take anything. Rusty old body panels, tiny little pieces, whatever.

Re: Scrap metal
I have a bunch but I'm too far away. If you have a scrap yard near you can buy some used metal from them pretty cheap. Get some 1/4" stock and practice with that, then practice on thinner stuff to get a feel for your particular welders heat range and wire speed without burning through the light gauge metal. Practice, practice, practice. Mark.
